Sub-national disease burden in Japan, 1990-2015

About

View age-standardized rates (per 100,000 population) for mortality, Years of Life Lost (YLLs), Years Lived with Disability (YLDs), Disability-Adjusted Life Year (DALYs), Life Expectancy (LE) at birth, and Healthy Life Expectancy (HALE) at birth in Japan at the prefectural level for the period 1990-2015. This visualization shows these six health metrics for each prefecture. Click on a prefecture to view the time trend of mortality, YLL, YLD, DALY, LE, HALE in that prefecture. Hover the mouse over a region of the chart to see the exact value of the rates. Use the buttons at the bottom to switch between male, female and both sexes, and to change the year.
